Chevy Volt 2012 will be offered with two additional interior accents:
• flavored white and red. • new colors and two brand spankin 'exterior. • Summit White and Blue Topaz Metallic.
Some additional features for the Volt in 2012 included:
• Keyless entry lock is standard with passive. • OnStar turn-by-turn navigation. • Chevrolet MyLink. • Alloy 17-inch with black inserts (late availability).
Significantly for GM (General Motors), the Volt will now be sold nationally, not only in seven states and the District of Columbia. The company took the approach of a regional launch in an effort to work out kinks in home sales and installation process of filling stations.
Since GM (General Motors) and Nissan, which makes all-electric leaf, begin to give them a plug-in sedan about six months ago, auto industry observers have traced the total monthly sales, with the two car makers around even in total sales for the year-to-date.
GM (General Motors) said it expects to sell 45,000 Chevy Volts to fleet and retail customers in 2012. Refresh Volt will include several new features, including three years of OnStar navigation service, and warranty eight-year/100, 000 miles equal to the battery.
Volt has a range of 379 miles. Fuel economy varies widely depending on how often a rechargeable battery. EPA assess the Volt at 37 miles per gallon on the charge-defend mode and 93 miles per gallon for all-electric driving. Depending on conditions, GM (General Motors) said the Volt runs for 35 miles on the battery first and then kick the gas engine to run the generator to maintain battery charge.
