Yamaha Increasingly Convinced Compete With  Honda
Yamaha Team Manager, Wilco Zeelenberg, increasingly confident his side can match the speed of the Honda after reaching good results in tests at the Estoril Circuit.

Although Jorge Lorenzo still topped the MotoGP standings, but still lost the overall fast Yamaha from Honda in the top tracks.

Final proof is when Lorenzo dibalap Honda rider Dani Pedrosa MotoGP Portugal stay at three laps left. Though Lorenzo controlled most of the race.

Although still less quickly than the Honda, Yamaha Zeelenberg claims improved performance following the results of tests at Estoril Circuit. Zeelenberg hope that Lorenzo can perform faster in MotoGP France, May 15.

"We (Yamaha) had a fantastic test at Estoril, everyone was surprised with the beautiful weather, so we have a chance to try many things," said Zeelenberg as quoted by Autosport.

"Hopefully we can maintain the performance on the test, so Jorge could return to racing styles as before until he can play well in France and the rest of the season," continued Zeelenberg.

Zeelenberg Yamaha's own hopes could reach fourth consecutive victory at Le Mans circuit this weekend. Lorenzo is also a winner at Le Mans in the last two seasons.
