Egyptian Authorities Arrest Sectarian Riots
Egyptian troops were deployed in full force to downtown Cairo after sectarian rioting that caused 12 people dead and more than 200 people were injured. Egyptian authorities say they have arrested a man who became the brain behind the sectarian violence. Arab League Calls

Prime Minister of Egypt, Essam Sharaf, canceled his visit to countries in the Arab Gulf in connection with the sectarian violence. He led the impromptu cabinet meeting to plan the steps to be taken handling the Egyptian government.
